What is MyBarrhaven? Create your own personal dashboard of links into Barrhaven.
How does it work? Simply make a selection from our complete listing of shops, services and community associations to create a dashboard and stay connected with your community interests. With each listing, you will find a button “Add to MyBarrhaven”. Simply click on this link and the link will be added to your personal dashboard.

- ~ Add links to your dashboard from the main directory using “Add to MyBarrhaven”
- ~ Go to “MyBarrhaven” to view your personal dashboard of links
Add or delete your private links simply by using our convenient “Add to myBarrhaven” button in our main listing when logged in with your personal account.
Who are we? My husband and I created a company called LocoL (Local Communities On-Line) to better serve the communities such as Barrhaven by using the internet to “Make Connections That Matter” serving the community in a purposeful way.
BarrhavenLive.ca is our inaugural project serving to make it easier to simply find what you need and connect with the many businesses and community services available.
Why Should You Join? Enjoy the benefits of using our community services such as classfieds and community event board. By creating these services for the Barrhaven community, we hope to keep Barrhaven an active and close community. The internet is just at the beginning of bringing us a whole new set of services that will dramatically change the way we all communicate personally or in business. We are excited to be a part of this change and invite you to join as a user or an active participant in helping us make this change. Our goal is to use Web 2.0, which is simply web-base services to improve the way we communicate and create what we can evolve into something we call Barrhaven 2.0 - an online community by the community. By joining you will benefit from using these services and the opportunity to participate in building Barrhaven 2.0.
Is it completely free? There are no hidden catches or surprises for using our services. We do charge for eBusiness services to individuals, businesses and associations leverage internet communication technology to prosper. Paid services are availble from simple graphic design needs to complex eBusiness solutions.
As a member, we will occassionally ask for your help to make the site better through voluntary particpation in online surveys, polls and an opportunity to participate in focus groups. Not all members will necessarily be contacted. As a member you do agree to our right to contact you. We respect your privacy. Your personal information will alway be handled according to our privacy policy and will not be shared or distributed without your written permission.
