| We believe that the internet will continue to have a great impact on the lives of all Canadians. A "Smart Barrhaven” is our vision of making the internet a reality for everyone in our community - a pretty big challenge we know. Our goal is to enable people in our community to use the internet to enhance their quality of life. We will do this through advocacy, partnering with local government and connecting the people in our community with content of interest. At LocoL, the creators of BarrhavenLive, we strongly believe in advocating the benefits and uses of internet technology. Stay tuned as we continue to develop our program called "Net Benefits” for seminars and information of interest. Feel free to sign-up to our newsletter for program information beginning this fall. Currently, we are focused on "Net Benefits” for business and community associations. Our program will quickly extend to engaging the youth and educating seniors in our community. Our youth program is aimed at creating a means for youth to develop internet-based community services, powered and managed by young people in our community. Our seniors program will be tailored to educate, train and support this generation in adopting the internet into their daily lives. Internet Technology will continue to advance and change. Our mission will be to continue to keep pace with changes to internet technology and serve to find the programs and solutions that will bring value and benefit to our community as a whole.
